Newborn Love….. Upper East Side NYC Newborn Photography

Oh my I love me some repeat offenders!! I photographed gorgeous little Grayson one year ago in Central Park, and recently I was so excited to capture the first images of his newborn brother, Hudson.

I adore photographing new families. There’s  this magic and beauty surrounding the miracle of new life…. Yes that may sound cliche, but its SO true. Each time I leave a newborn photo session feeling invigorated, inspired and humbled for having the honor of documenting such a special family moment.

Aghhhhhhhh look at that smile! Those eyes! The hug! I die…..

Joslyn and Craig — thank you from the bottom of my heart for welcoming me into your home and allowing me to capture your gorgeous new family.

xoxoxo

Meet Rowyn – Bergen County New Jersey Photographer

We met up bright and early at Peddler’s Village. And when I say bright and early, I mean I had to get up at 5am to allow enough time for the almost 2 hour drive into PA. But it was OH so worth it….

Little Rowyn just started walking, so she was showing us her sailor waddle. SO STINKING ADORABLE!!!

What a gorgeous, blessed family. Kendra and Patrick, the love in your family was palpable and inspiring.

Front runner image for the 16×24 canvas that comes as part of the collection Kendra and Patrick chose. MELT.

Love the smile and the glimpse of her tiny teeth! Not to mention Rowyn is ROCKING the military style jacket:)

I always encourage bringing extra changes of clothes to sessions as it spices up the photos and serves as a back up in case clothes get dirty/wet/muddy.

I can’t say how much I adore this image. Kendra, you’re just stunning.

Wishing everyone a warm and fabulous Tuesday…..

XOXO

Rowan is BEAUTIFUL! I love Peddlers Village : ) and I LOVE this sweet baby. So glad you had a fun time. I can’t believe it took you 2 hours at 5 am to get there. CRAZY!

Orchard Perfection – Randolph New Jersey Family Photographer – Morris County

I love photography…. Love the art of storytelling. The simplest image can evoke so many emotions and memories. Captured & archived to last a lifetime.

When I photograph families I look for interactions, genuine emotions, personalities…. Its so much more than the traditional “say cheese” images, everyone perfectly smiling into the camera. Its snuggles and kisses and tears and tantrums and excitement and shyness and all of the moments in between. When a child is in their parents’ arms and sucks his thumb in a familiar search for comfort – I love it and always grab that image. I don’t ask the parents to remove the thumb, for me its a precious and authentic thumbprint of their child’s personality. I want to capture images that parents can later look back on and say “that is SO xxx at that age!!”.

Which brings me to this weekend’s beautiful and fun orchard session in Randolph NJ at Sun High… This is the second time I’ve photographed this family and I LOVE repeat offenders!! I was ridiculously excited for the session and it was so much fun to photograph Bethany, Chris and Matthew again.

Beautiful! What a perfect location. Amazing expressions from that little guy.

Meet Nate : Central Park / Upper West Side Family Photographer

It was a perfect Saturday to photograph a family portrait session in Central Park. Right at the beginning of fall, when the air is crispy and then quickly warms up to a comfortable let-me-take-off-my-sweater temperature.

Todd, Jen and Nate? Well, I couldn’t ask for a more amazing, sweet, witty or gorgeous family.

Portrait sessions early in the morning in Central Park? Yes please!

This stunning image of Nate on the bridge was chosen as their 16×24 fine art 2″ gallery-wrapped canvas. Love:)

There’s something about a mama’s love for her boy that just captivates me.

Hello there sir Nate, future heartbreaker! Those blue eyes? The perfect curls? The two teeth? DIE.

I’m so happy Jen and Todd documented Nate at this age. As a parent myself, I know how these small moments and milestones disappear with the blink of an eye.

The entire family, pups included!

After the session we all walked back to my parked mini cooper just to see a New York City cop slap a parking ticket on it (the meter had *just* expired). I was in such a good mood from a great session with what felt like new friends I instantly got along with that I didn’t even sweat it. After I took the neon orange ticket and parted with Todd, Jen and Nate, I decided to forgo driving right back home and slap the ticket right back on my  windshield so I could meet up with my good friend Rachel for brunch. Because when life hands you lemons, try to make lemonade, right? Might as well take advantage of the $67 (yes, $67)  parking time the ticket gave me.

I slowly meandered through the weekend crowds, taking my time to soak in the sun and the city sights. Met up with Rachel at Cafe Aroma, an Israeli coffee chain that recently opened a few locations in NYC, and enjoyed girl talk over an awesome brunch that reminded me of my home in Israel. I honestly couldn’t ask more from life.

Thank you Jen, Todd and Nate for helping make my weekend so perfect, and for reminding me just how much I love what I do. I can’t wait to see the finish prints and canvas up on your walls!!

XOXO

LOVE IT!!! What a heartbreaker. I especially love the little feet dangling over the railing.

Jessica LeeOctober 14, 2011 - 12:54 pm

What a beautiful family! I especially love the one of them on the bridge with their two dogs. Steal my heart!

Oh. em. gee. That little boys curls! And his eyes!! I just died a little.

Meet Nolan: Hoboken NJ Newborn Photographer

I had the opportunity to photograph this sweet, gorgeous newborn in Hoboken, New Jersey earlier last month.

Whenever I photograph newborn sessions, I give myself a little kick in the ass for not investing in newborn photography when Aviv was born. These fleeting newborn moments fly past so quickly, you literally blink your eyes and your baby has already changed.

I always recommend photographing newborns before 14 days of age, but Nolan was a couple of days beyond that. Still, with patience and experience we can often still capture those dreamy sleeping images.

Meet Nolan… Future Mr. Heartbreaker….

This is the image Jill and Andrew decided to choose for their 20×30 gallery-wrapped canvas. I just recently delivered (and hung it on their wall!) and it looks amazing displayed in their beautiful Hoboken home.

I’m kinda obsessed with his cute tush. And those tiny little toes?? Swoon…..

Jill, I honestly think its illegal for someone to look this good only two weeks after giving birth. Wanna share your secrets??

Mr. Wilson, the other child of the family *wink*, joined us for the last minutes of the session. I have a couple of hysterical out-takes of him lunging at the camera, but mostly he was well behaved:)

Jill and Andrew – thank you so much for welcoming me into your home and allowing me to capture & archive Nolan’s precious newborn moments. I had so much fun with you and can’t wait until the next time we meet…..

Wishing you all a fabulous day!

XOXO

The second photo…I cannot get over that perfect, beautiful little mouth! He’s got the lips of a sweet cherub!

As always, Noa, these are beautiful photos. My favorite is the the fourth one down (I think the one Jill & Andrew chose for the canvas?)…I *love* that you shot him at an angle!

What a beautiful family; I cannot believe she had her baby two weeks ago – she looks stunning! ‘Love that the puppers got in on the action and became part of the family photograph – so appropriate!

Miss you and love you! xo

MichalOctober 6, 2011 - 1:41 pm

So precious! I love the one they chose as their canvas and the one of the dog. What an adorable family and, as always, you captured them so well.
